The short version: the Debt Audit and calculators run entirely in your browser, and nothing you type into them is stored or sent anywhere. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits, and the contact form sends your message to us by email. That’s it.
The Debt Audit and calculators
When you use the Debt Audit or a calculator, all of the math happens in your own browser. The numbers you enter, including balances, rates, income and expenses, and anything you type in a name field:
- are never sent to our server or to anyone else
- aren’t saved in cookies, local storage or anywhere else on your device
- are gone when you close or reload the page
The only thing the tools report is an anonymous event name to our analytics, such as “audit completed” or which type of result was shown. Never any of the numbers you entered. The “Print / save as PDF” button uses your browser’s own print feature; the file stays on your device.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited, how people arrive and what kind of device they use, so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your IP address, browser and approximate location, which Google processes under its own policies.
You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s browser add-on. Blocking cookies in your browser also works, and the site, including the Debt Audit, works normally without them.
The contact form
If you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message by email so we can reply. We use it only to respond to you, and we don’t add you to a mailing list. Please don’t include account numbers or other sensitive financial details in a message.
Hosting and security
Like almost every website, the servers that host and deliver this site keep standard technical logs, including IP addresses and the pages requested, to run the site and protect it from abuse. The site is hosted by Hostinger and delivered through Cloudflare, which may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
Advertising
The site doesn’t currently show ads. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any advertising runs, including how ad networks use cookies and how to opt out.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent personal information.
- We don’t ask for your name or contact details to use the tools.
- We don’t share contact form messages with anyone except as required by law.
Do Not Track
Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There’s no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so the site doesn’t change its behavior when it receives one. The analytics opt-out above is the way to stop analytics collection.
Children
This site is written for adults and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Pages link to official sources and other websites. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their policies when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
If what the site collects changes, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
